Cedar Key and Crystal River

On this mini road trip we got rained on, rode through some beautiful country and covered 278 miles. We did more sightseeing than riding but sometimes you just have to do that.

After a day's rest from the Walterboro trip we're on our way again for an overnight trip to Cedar Key and Crystal River.

 

After a good breakfast we'll be ready to ride.

 

Looks like rain but we've got rain gear.

 

We’re traveling Hi-way 50 west, almost to Clermont, and the clouds are getting dark

 

We are passing the famous Citrus Tower in Clermont, which has been a local tourist attraction since 1956. The Citrus Tower stands 226 feet tall and from the observation deck you can see into 8 surrounding counties.
