Miller's Custom Parts
January 2, 2010

Home

Today was a very cold and very short ride to Miller's Custom Parts. This "Mission to Miller's" is for a front tire and brakes all around on GPS and Shutterbug's Classic.

We had planned to take the Interstate to Miller's for a 10:00 appointment for a front tire and the brakes but it was entirely too cold to go that fast or that far without a break.

It was 38 degrees when we left - with the wind chill we guessed we were riding in the mid to high 20's.

You know who your friends are when they'll venture out in this weather to ride with you!!

Pathfinder, Deuce and Yoda bundled up and made the trip.

At Miller's it didn't take Arnold long to strip off the old tire.

A few ounces of chrome balance weight later and he's ready to put the front tire back on.

Next the front brakes - with dual front disc brakes it takes 4 brake pads on the front.

Almost done...

The rear only has 2 pads so it didn't take long to install them.

The last thing Arnold did was a quick clutch adjustment.

As always the work Arnold did was done right, done quickly and by going to Miller's I saved over $100.00 from having this done at a Harley shop!!

You owe it to yourself (and to your Harley) to let Arnold and the Miller's crew take care of your bike.
