Today is a beautiful Saturday morning so we're headed out to the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge to see if Shutterbug can get some interesting wildlife photos.

Before we can go anywhere we have to work on Deuce's seat

He was under the silly impression that because the bolt holding his seat on broke it may not be safe to ride... some people have no sense of adventure!!

The first step was to grind off the protruding bolt section so we could drill out the rest.

Deuce and Pathfinder looked for a suitable seat bolt while I make sparks with the bench grinder.

Just a few minutes to drill out the old bolt... or so we thought.
30 minutes and 5 drill bits later we finally got through the hardened bolt still in the seat bracket!!

Deuce and I put the seat bracket back on while The Kid did his best Tom impression - he supervised.

Putting the seat back on was easy once the bad hardware had been dealt with.

Now that we've worked up a good appetite we're ready to get some breakfast.

Even though we were an hour later than normal our parking space was still there for us at Dixie Belle's.

Once again we ride past the still under construction new Amway Arena.
I have to say the arena is coming together a lot faster than most of the road projects in the city!!
