Deuce Comes Home

Deuce came home from his Summer in Alaska on October 2, 2009. The following day he was anxious to get his bike running again so we took a short ride to start the long process of helping him regain his Iron Butt!!

Shutterbug was not with us on this ride so The Kid took over as Geezer photographer. He took these photos with his new i phone. Nice work Corey, thanks.

As expected the tires needed air and the battery was dead. Deuce tried the charger but this 7 year old battery just wouldn't cooperate.

 

After a bit of prodding and coercing Deuce agreed to ride "B" to get a battery.

 

Oh well, at least this is a class ride!

 

Our friends at Batteries Plus helped us out again. The battery for Deuce's bike here came to a little over $81.00 as opposed to about $140.00 at a Harley dealer.
