Port Canaveral June 29, 2008

Today was a quick ride to Port Canaveral for a bowl of clam chowder at Rusty's and a few pictures of Pelicans. Today we rode about 100 miles.

On the way out of town we stopped at the Conway Little League field because there are supposed to be Owls in the surrounding trees.
When we got there we saw the league sign with a nice tribute to Pathfinder and Shutterbug's Dad.

For many years Lou was the District Administrator for District III Little League - he was the "Boss Man" for quite a while.

We couldn't find the Owls but we did find an Osprey nest on top of the field lights about 80 feet up. Thank God for a 300 milimeter lens!

After the ball field we head out for the port.

The Beachline traffic was light and we made good time.

Yep, just a few minutes and we'll be halfway to the port.
