Mount Dora
June 15, 2008

Today's ride was a solo ride with just me and Shutterbug. We went to Mt. Dora to walk around and see what we could see. As it turned out the Audubon Society would be proud... we found and photographed more different species of birds on this ride than most of the others combined.

First we need a good breakfast because, well... it's a Geezer law!

The beauty and serenity of the nearby countryside early in the morning is a great way to start a ride.

Once again we're back at East Lake Fish Camp. This time we have extra time to walk around and look for photo opportunities.

The first one seems to be a female Great Egret.

How did we know it was a female? Isn't it obvious, she's fixing her hair!

OK, now I'm all pretty - go ahead and take my picture.
