Bill's Florida Vacation - May 2008
Sunday May 25th

Next

Today we are off to Vero Beach, Sebastian Inlet, and up the coast on A1A and US1. This ride is usually a full day and today was no exception; we rode 260 miles.

This morning we chose a different place for breakfast, so we head South through the old McCoy Air Force Base.

The road through the old air base borders the Orlando International Airport. On the other side of the trees, and well hidden in this picture, are most of the maintenance hangers.

Breakfast is at the East Lake Fish Camp. They have an all you can eat buffet that gets the ride off to a good start.

Of course we have to stand around and talk a bit before we actually go in to eat.

Deuce is leaving for Alaska next Sunday, so this is one of his last rides for awhile.

He'll be back to join our weekend rides in September.

Since the weather in Alaska is somewhat moderate in their short summer, and its blazing hot here, I'd say his cool comfort will exceed ours.
